JOB DESCRIPTION – SHIFT SUPERVISOR (Reporting to the Site Manager)
Safety duties and responsibilities
•Presenting morning Line-up
•Assuring compliance on Safety Interaction
•Generate Safety Quiz and HIRA’s and assuring his team comply
•Reporting all incidents and investigating
•Maintaining 2.9.2 tasks and compliances
Effective HR Administration
•Monitor personnel timesheet – paid overtime
•Record timesheets - updated employment contracts
•Maintaining personnel training status
•Insert operational commodity code to change slip
•New personnel records – site specific induction
•Record RTW interviews & disciplinary procedures
•Address all personnel requests
•Carry out all instruction to the team
•Schedule personnel for replacement of unavailable personnel.
•Issuing Permit To Work and other required documents
•Issuing parts and counting of stock every week
•Receiving parts and stack them to the designated stores
Customer Relation
•Address complaints and suggestion regarding personnel issues
•Feedback and report to all clients (internal & external)
•Address all breakdowns queries and personnel
Scheduled work
•Issuing keys for the equipments together with Pre-check start list
•Countersign every Checklist during the shift
•Request stationary and PPE for his team
•Schedule planned maintenance task(s) and maintain backlog schedule
•Balance resources & compile shift roster
•Address training and induction matrix
•Spares allocation and maintain availability status to Underground and Surface
•Inspect equipment on weekly basis
•Maintain housekeeping to the workshop – apply 5s.
Operational duties and responsibilities - Daily
•Maintaining perfect Mean Time To Repair Equipments
•Countersign Jobcards and other client related reports
•Monitor Pitstop duties – integrate data
•Assuring Safe use if vehicle
•Assuring all equipment are clean by end of shift and parked correctly
•Utilise effective tools
•Compile scrap report and get it sign by client
•Carry appointment for equipment Coordinator in her/his absence
